I am a Highschool and College Track and Cross-Country runner and have spent many hours in the gym. I am home in Cali for the summer and joined the Compound Gym. It has been an amazing experience! The Gym is always clean and has a great vibe. The owner welcomes everyone and maintains a great facility. I am really looking forward to being back in Cali permanently in a few months so I can enjoy my time at The Compound! The members are all friendly, and the gym is never overcrowded! It has truly been an amazing experience compared to other gyms and can't wait to get back to continue my time here! The Compound does not disappoint!!

I’ve had a great experience at Compound Gym. The facility is always clean, organized, and has a welcoming atmosphere. Paul is incredibly friendly and genuinely makes everyone feel welcome from the moment they walk in. The environment is respectful, and everyone is there to work hard without making the gym feel intimidating. It’s also never overcrowded, so you don’t have to wait for machines and there’s plenty of space to get your workout in. If you’re looking for a clean, well-run gym with a great community, I highly recommend Compound Gym.

I recently joined the Compound Gym that my Husband has been a member of for a year! I now see why he speaks so highly of his experience with this gym. The owner Paul is very welcoming and treats all members with respect. The Gym is not commercial like some of the big gyms. It's a really great place with state-of-the-art equipment and a very clean atmosphere. The Gym is never overcrowded and offers personal Showers, Towel service, Purified water station and so much more. This gym does not disappoint! If you're looking for personal training sessions Paul is your guy. He has helped my husband lose over 60lbs and keeps him very motivated in his workouts.

The Compound Gym is easily one of the best private gyms in Woodland Hills. It is clean, well-equipped, never feels overcrowded, and has everything needed for serious strength training, cardio, and personal fitness without the chaos of a typical commercial gym. What really separates The Compound is Paul Wassily. Paul is an exceptional personal trainer who genuinely cares about each member’s progress. He is knowledgeable, motivating, and pays attention to the details that actually matter—form, consistency, accountability, and building a plan that fits your real life. You never feel like just another membership or another session on his schedule. The 24/6 access, capped membership, quality equipment, towel service, and no-contract structure make it an incredible value for Woodland Hills, Calabasas, Encino, Tarzana, and anyone looking for a private gym near Ventura Boulevard. Whether you are trying to lose weight, build muscle, get stronger, or simply train in a clean gym without waiting for equipment, The Compound Gym is the place to go. Highly recommend Paul and The Compound Gym to anyone looking for a serious, welcoming, uncrowded gym experience in the west San Fernando Valley.

There's no doubt in my mind that the Compound Gym is the best gym not only in Woodland Hills but in all of Los Angeles. Everything in the gym is always clean and well maintained, including the equipment, machines, and bathrooms. The equipment and machines cover a good variety of exercises and are all top-notch. In my experience the community of other members has been friendly, welcoming, and polite. Paul, the owner, is a wonderful guy who is friendly, kind, and attentive to everyone in the gym. As a personal trainer he is also knowledgeable, motivating, and always mindful of your particular needs. I highly recommend the Compound Gym regardless of whether you’re looking for strength training, weight loss, or personal training.
